MANILA – Andrea Bocelli, the multi-awarded and world-renowned Italian tenor, is in the Philippines for a one-night concert at the SM Mall of Asia Arena on Tuesday.
He arrived at 10 a.m. Tuesday on board a Turkish-registered private jet from Oman with wife Veronica, daughter Virginia and his mother-in-law.
A red carpet was laid out at the Asian Aerospace hangar inside the Ninoy Aquino International Airport complex, where a luxury sedan waited and took them to a hotel in Makati.

Before he left the hangar, he spoke to reporters and left this message for his fans:
“I have beautiful memories and I hope to meet many people tonight,” he said.

This is Bocelli’s second concert in the Philippines. His first was in 2004.
